Blu-ray tested versus DVD: Best of Enemies’ bonus depth compared
We recently compared the Blu-ray and DVD versions of The Best of Enemies, ready to assess the visual and auditory differences. While the core presentation remains similar across both formats, the Blu-ray takes the lead with richer color grading and sharper detail. However, our main focus was on the bonus content. Here, the Blu-ray truly shines, offering exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and insights that DVD lacks. These extras provide deeper context to the heated exchange between James baldwin and William F. Buckley, adding layers of understanding. While the DVD version is a solid choice, the added depth of the Blu-ray extras makes it our preference. The superior presentation, coupled with this additional context, elevates the overall viewing experience for us.
